Meeting Notes

The followings are the highlights of the Steering Committee recent meetings:

7th March 2018

Attendees: Amir Aryani, Jingbo Wang, Peter Vats, Benjamin Zapilko

Meeting highlights:

  • Committee discussed a new line of collaboration with PID Graph.
  • Reviewed the alpha version of the new graph for individual nodes.
  • Reviewed the in-progress items such such as integration of ANZSRC and GRID .
  • Postponed the following integration to 2018 Q2: Open Funder ID, NIH, New DOI Resolution Service, and New Node Linking features.
  • Next meeting would be on 12th April 2018.

15th February 2018

Attendees: Amir Aryani, Peter Vats, Benjamin Zapilko

Meeting highlights:

  • Marked GESIS and NCI projects as completed.
  • Added Gephi Export and Node Linking to 2018 Q1.
  • Confirmed completion of Augment API beta test.
  • SciGraph, Scholix, OpenFunderID added as new items for 2018 Q1.
  • Next meeting would be on 15th March 2018.

18th January 2018

Meeting highlights:

  • Research Graph membership discussion paper was tabled and discussed – with a few alterations, it was deemed complete and ready to be placed on the website.
  • The committee strongly supported publishing the highlights of the monthly meeting minutes publicly on the website.
  • The committee supported publishing the statute of Steering Committee on the website.
  • The Advisory Board (AB) formation was discussed including the overall function of the AB and potential members.
  • The overall Research graph roadmap was discussed and reviewed for Q2 2018. For more info please refer to http://researchgraph.org/about/roadmap

2017 Highlights

Summary of 2017 discussion highlights/achievements:

  • Completion of the open graph for Nature SData
  • GESIS LOD Research Graph project started
  • NCI Research Graph project started
  • Early discussions about VIVO pilot project
  • Formation of this Steering Committee
